All bicycles will have a Free Initial Assessment / Safety Check before work commences.

In order to get the most benefit from a service with CyCMech we would strongly recommend that you clean and degrease your bicycle prior to dropping it off with us.

Full Bicycle Valet - £30.00

Your bicycle will be cleaned, degreased, lubed and then polished to bring it back into that shiny as new look and feel.  

Basic Bicycle Service - £45.00
Check, adjust and lubricate front and rear derailleurs

Check tyres and inflate to correct pressure

Check and adjust front and rear brakes

Visual check of all cables and housings

Remove Seatpost, grease and replace

Remove Pedals, grease and replace

Drive train cleaned and lubricated

Check and adjust headset
 

Standard Bicycle Service - £85.00

Basic Bicycle Service plus:-

Replace both Brake inner cables and outer cables  

Replace both Gear inner cables and outer cables 

Check and adjust bottom bracket as required
Check and adjust wheel bearings

Basic wheel true

Please not that a Hydraulic Brake Bleed will incur an additional cost of £20.00

Full Bicycle Strip Down and Rebuild - From £130.00

Bicycle and all parts will be completely stripped from the frame and cleaned
Every component checked, adjusted and lubricated before re-assembly

All Inner and Outer Cables for both gears and brakes will be replaced

Chain and Cassette will be checked for wear and chain lubricated
Bolts greased, checked and tightened to the correct torque
Tyres checked and inflated to the correct pressure

Wheels trued and tensioned as necessary

Please note that longer outer cables will be charged extra and hydraulic brakes will have a full bleed and be charged an extra £20.00

Internet / Boxed bought Bicycle - £45.00

Visual check of the frame and forks for safety issues (in case damaged from transit)

Bicycle will be fully assembled, set up and a PDI will be completed
Basic Wheel True

Child's / BMX Bicycle Service - £40.00

This Service will be exactly the same as the Basic Bicycle Service

Insurance Accident Quote from £50.00

There are so many cyclists on the roads and this is increasing year on year. Accidents are sadly a part of cycling life and you may have been involved in an accident and need assistance in getting a full and comprehensive quote from a qualified Bicycle Mechanic for your Insurance company to pursue a claim on your behalf.

CyCMech can provide a full written quote based on the damage caused to your bicycle. The quote will include pictures and will be bespoke for each client and their bicycle. The service will include a full written electronically signed report of the damage to the bicycle and detail the full cost of replacement parts and labour to restore your bicycle to it's pre-accident state. 

The quote will be sent electronically in PDF format and will be valid for a period of 60 days.

• Full Cable fit i.e Brake x 2 and Gear x 2 - £40.00 (Inner Cables supplied)
• Tubeless MTB and Road Wheels Setup - £25.00 each wheel/tyre 
• Headset Overhaul, remove, clean, inspect and re-install - £20.00
• True wheel - Basic £15.00
• Fit new tube / tyre £10.00 (New Tube can be supplied from £5.00)
• Fit new tube / tyre £15.00 (Wheels with nuts/cones/hub drive i.e BMX, eBike etc)
• Hydraulic Disk Brake Bleed various makes - Front or Rear £20.00 or Both - £35.00
