This Privacy Notice lets you know what happens to any Personal Data that you provide CyCMech when you use the Contact Form on the Webiste or Communicate via the posted Website Phone Numbers and applies to your Personal Information.
CyCMech is a business owned and controlled by Ian Barclay.

Your Personal Information is used in connection with any communication made and includes:-
Personal contact details, such as your Name, your Phone contact details and your email address. Records of your contact with CyCMech over Mobile and Landline phone numbers, SMS and our website contact form from subsequent email communication.
When Payment is made via PayPal (Card Reader Payments) this is kept securely by PayPal for the purposes of business tax and any relevant requests from HMRC. This personal data is not shared with any third party or used for any further marketing or other email communications. It only provides you with a receipt for any servicing and/or repair on your bicycle so you have a record of the payment made.
3. What is the source of your Personal information?
We will only receive Personal Information from you directly during any joint communication.
4. What do we use your Personal Data for?
We use your Personal data, including any of the Personal data listed in section 2 above, for the following purposes:
Fulfilling our contract with you.
Responding to your questions and providing a bespoke customer service.
Managing any aspect of our service in relation to you and your bicycle.
Receiving payments for work completed.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, requirements and guidance.
5. What are the legal grounds for our processing of your Personal Information?
We rely on the following legal basis to use your personal data:-
Managing the contract/agreement you hold with CyCMech in relation to the servicing and/or repair of your bicycle.
Managing the products and services relating to your bicycle.
For management and audit of CyCMech's business operations including any necessary accounting for HMRC.
Where CyCMech needs to comply with any legal and/or regulatory obligations.
For the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, where necessary.
6. When do we share your Personal Information with other organisations?
CyCMech will not share ANY of your Personal Information with any other organisations or third party unless this has been expressly given. For example - If your bicycle frame requires repair or re-spray then CyCMech will seek prior authority for third party sharing where further communication may be required.
CyCMech does not have any form of direct/indirect email marketing or an opt in marketing service. Your Personal Data is only used by CyCMech in the communication and contract with you personally for the service and/or repair of your bicycle and subsequent payment.
When requested by any Governmental or regulatory bodies such as HMRC or the Information Commissioner’s Office.
7. How and when can you withdraw your consent?
CyCMech relies upon your consent to process your Personal Data to maintain communication with you in relation to the service and/or repair of your bicycle, you can withdraw this at any time by contacting us using the Contact Form or phone details provided. Your phone number and details will be removed from any communication device held by CyCMech when requested.

9. Do you have to provide your Personal Information to us?
CyCMech would be unable to provide you with our services or those requested if you do not provide certain information to us.
10. For how long is your Personal information retained by us?
Unless CyCMech contacts or explain otherwise to you, we will hold your Personal Information securely, based on the following criteria:
For as long as we have reasonable business needs, i.e. managing our relationship with you and managing our operations and business needs.
For as long as we provide goods and/or services to you and then for as long as someone could bring a claim against us; and/or
Retention periods in line with legal and regulatory requirements or guidance. For example, records required for tax purposes will be held for six years.
